Seminar Focuses on Elective Cosmetic Dentistry for Somers Smiles Patients
Dr. Karol and staff recently attended a seminar sponsored by the Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The
seminar featured Dr. Gary Radz, an associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. The focus of the session was on the latest procedures and materials that can be used to successfully enhance our patients' appearance.

Dr. Karol and staff attends course with Extreme Makeover's Dorfman
Dr. Dan Dorfman, a dentist on the hit TV show Extreme Makeover, presented a course in Pearl River recently. Dr. Karol, accompanied by staff members Terry and Tina, learned about some of Dorfman's most challenging dental restorations and
the techniques he used in carrying out the restorations. Dorfman focused on some of the celebrity clients he has treated at
his Beverly Hills practice. The full day seminar was presented by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (AACD).
Somers Lions Club: More than 1300 Breakfasts Served at Annual Pancake Breakfast
Now that's a lot of flap jacks! More than 1,300 pancake breakfasts were served by the members of the Somers Lions Club in April. The annual event raises funds for sports programs in Somers. Thanks again to all who came out to support the effort.
